What is Columbian Charities of Georgia?
Columbian Charities of Georgia, Inc. (Columbian Charities) is a corporation chartered to provide
religious, charitable, literary, and educational services and conduct related activities. Columbian
Charities is a tax-exempt organization as defined under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue

What does Columbian Charities do?
Columbian Charities provides fiduciary support for the established Knights of Columbus charitable
programs within the state of Georgia and also endeavors to support emergent charitable needs as defined
and requested by individual councils within the state. The established programs include Disabilities – ARC,
Southern Catholic College, the Wheelchair Program, and the Special Olympics of Georgia.
How can Columbian Charities help your council?
If your council identifies a charitable need, a request for funds can be submitted to Columbian Charities.
The required form is in the Columbian Charities document package. In addition, if an outside organization
wishes to make a charitable contribution to your council and wishes to receive the associated tax benefit,
Columbian Charities is the correct organization for handling the transfer of the
funds.
