St Michael the Archangel, Pray for those who serve!

Greetings my Brother Knights and Families!

It’s May, we are nearing the end of the fraternal year, and it’s a time for reflection. Reflection on what the Virgin Mary gave to us and reflection on the progress we’ve made as Knights of Columbus this past year.

Many of you had the opportunity to participate in the Order’s Marian Hour of Prayer celebrating Our Lady of Charity. It is only appropriate that we celebrate her once more by gathering Sunday morning at the convention in Augusta for her last stop in the state. Bring your families and share with them this devotion.

Speaking of the convention, will we see you there? This too is a time for reflection on deeds done well, honoring those who have given special measure to the Order and our Church. It is a time for relaxation, for meeting once again and enjoying old friends from around the state, and for making plans for even greater achievements. Donna and I hope to see you there!

As we approach summer, we wish you the best of family times, and thank you for all you have done for the Order. Keep up the great works you do in your councils, communities and parishes, and don’t forget to pray for those who serve our country on land, on sea, and in the air!

Vivat Jesus!
