State Deputy Jim Clifford presented Deacon William P Lakin Council 6514 of Athens, the Star Council Award for Fraternal Year 2020/2021. Star Council is the highest award earned by a Council. It demonstrates the Council’s dedication of being, as Pope John Paul rightfully stated, the “Strong arm of the Church”. Council 6514 was able to successfully provide service to Church, Community, Life, and Family.
Thanks to Fr. Fred and the Catholic Center for honoring the Knights with a wonderful Mass and Homily. Fr. Fred’s guidance as Council Chaplain is sincerely appreciated.
