Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest

2026-2027 The annual “Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest” is a fun and easy way for youth to express their faith as Advent and Christmas approach. This contest is open to youth in grades K – 8, broken down this year into five groups: students in grades K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and grades 7 and 8. Students create their own poster on posterboard (or similar material) 11” x 17”. Each poster must reflect the Keep Christ in Christmas theme with a visual image. There is no limit to the number of posters each contestant may submit! Supreme has a lot of resources dealing with this contest. Councils interested in conducting this contest should order the Poster Contest Kit, which contains the entry forms, publicity information, etc. in August or early Fall as Supreme has run out of kits in the past.
GEORGIA STATE COUNCIL AWARDS!
Last year, we had the highest number of entries ever – 33 posters!! The Georgia State Council awarded $100 to the First Place winners and $50 to the Second Place winners. The State Council will be making these same awards to this year’s winners!
JUDGING: Judging teams should be composed of students, Knights,
teachers, administrators, council chaplain, pastor, etc. A 100-point scoring system will
be used to determine the winners, based on:
Slogan — 30 Points: How clearly is the theme presented?
Visuals — 30 Points: How well do the visuals convey the message?
Overall Impact — 40 points: How effective was the poster in capturing your
attention and causing you to reflect on the topic at hand?
CONTEST TIMETABLE
July – November: Students create posters, and FULLY complete an entry form!
December 2026: Councils create a judging team and judge the posters.
Dec. 2026-Jan. 2027: District Deputies hold a District judging IF more than one Council in his District has held a council judging.
