A Note of Thanks for the Support
Brothers,
Thank you for all the financial contributions over the years. Our Councils, Assemblies, Brother Knights, and Individuals in our various Parishes and Communities across this great state of Georgia made this program possible and successful.
It has been an honor and a blessing to serve as the wheelchair fund chairman for the Ga State Knights of Columbus, and it has also been my pleasure to share with everyone the state of the Wheelchair Program in Georgia, one of the most meaningful charitable efforts we support.
At its core, this program is about restoring dignity and independence. Through the generosity of our councils, parishes, and donors, we provide wheelchairs to individuals who would otherwise lack access to this basic necessity.
In 2026, we've seen strong participation across Georgia. Because of your support, hundreds of lives have been changed. Each wheelchair we provide is more than a gift—it's freedom. It allows a child to go to school, a parent to work, and a senior to regain independence. The impact of these chairs improves and changes the lives of an average of 10 people. Mathew Chapter 25, verse 40 reads, "Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me"
While we celebrate this impact, we also recognize the challenges. Costs are rising, and the demand continues to grow. We recently placed an order for wheelchairs that are due to be delivered soon. There are still many individuals who need our help, and it allows us to do more.
I encourage every council and assembly to make the Wheelchair Program a regular part of their budget, to host at least one fundraiser each year, and to keep spreading awareness in your parish and community. Any council, assembly, or individual that donates $500.00 or more will receive a 34x 23 beautifully framed digital scan of Our Lady of Guadalupe ( IF REQUESTED)

Sandra Dutton, the wife of a Brother Knight from the Savannah Diocese, the author of the book A WHEELCHAIR THAT FLIES, a book dedicated to the dignity of the disabled. The publisher will donate 20% of each book sale, if bought directly from the publisher, to the Wheelchair Fund @ Monte Ceceri Publishers online. This program succeeds because of you—your generosity, your compassion, your commitment to service, and your help in coordinating the pickup and delivery of these chairs. Thank you all for your support over the years.
Finally, join me in welcoming both DD Ed Armijo and DD Bob Aiken as Auxiliary Chairmen for the Wheelchair Fund; they have been a valuable help over the years, and their addition will help make our logistics run more smoothly. "THANK YOU, GUYS"

Global Wheelchair Mission ***Please do not send your donations to the American Wheelchair Mission.*** A Higher Purpose Since 2003, the Knights of Columbus have sponsored the delivery of more than 100,000 wheelchairs to people in need – veterans, children, and many others who suffer from lack of mobility simply due to the lack of wheelchairs. Thanks to the efforts of our Order, we have delivered wheelchairs to people in need all over the world, showing exemplary compassion, generosity, and dedication by bringing mobility to those less fortunate.
The Knights of Columbus Charites of Georgia, Inc. (KCCG) state wheelchair fund was established to respond to this need in Georgia. For $150.00, the cost of one wheelchair, we can greatly improve the life of a veteran or others within our state. We are asking all councils to consider donating at least $300.00 towards the purchase of two wheelchairs. Our mission is to help veterans in our VA Hospitals, Honor Flight Network in GA, Churches, Schools, Children, Teens, and Adults. Program Chair Thomas A. The KCCG board of directors will purchase wheelchairs and distribute them as needed around the State.
